Let the renovations begin!

We first started by getting rid of the popcorn ceiling! Got rid of all the dirty carpet....

Then removed cabinets...

A wall...

And started painting the walls, went with a subtle greyish, bluish color for the entire house. More of a bluish tone for the bathrooms, and of course pink for my daughter room!

To be continued...

Hello Blogland

Hello,

A brief introduction about myself, my name is Christine I am married and have a beautiful 2 year old daughter.
I have always had a love for Shabby Chic and wanted to share its lovelyness to the Japanese market. So I decided to started an online interior decor store that became one of Rachel Aswell Shabby Chic's authorized dealers.
However, with the timing of Shabby Chic filing for chapter 11 and finding out that I was pregnant with my daughter I decided to close my store. A close friend of mine, thought that coming so far with my store, it would be a waste to just shut down. So she decided to take over and she is doing wonders with it now.
The first home I lived with my husband was already furnished with his mothers antiques. They are very beautiful pieces but to honest it just was not my cup of tea.... Recently we moved into a much larger home, and the best part is I get to decorate from start!!
This is my Shabby Chic journey, little by little I hope to create my shabby chic home. I hope that I can can share this journey with anyone that has the same love for shabby chic.
